CSC Holdings Limited a leading public listed foundation and geotechnical engineering specialist in Singapore invites good calibre candidates who are willing to embrace challenges in an expanding organization to apply for the following position(s):
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in the planning, design and day to day running of Geotechnical Engineering projects
- Prepare design calculations and technical drawings for the projects
- Determine operation requirements and assist Project Manager in preparing schedule
- Liaise with sub-contractors and consultants for the execution of works
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with schedule
- Update project records for reporting purposes and submission
- Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues
- Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager relating to project execution
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant bored piling works experience in a similar capacity
- Fresh Graduates candidates may be considered
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and have a passion in Foundation/Geotechnical Engineering works
- A good team player
Responsibilities:
- Review, negotiate, and finalize main contract documentation to ensure contractual compliance and clarity of terms and conditions.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations; prepare, award and administer subcontract agreements.
- Prepare, submit and monitor monthly progress claims to clients or main contractors; evaluate, recommend and certify interim payments to subcontractors.
- Manage the full spectrum of quantity surveying and cost management activities, including budgeting, cost estimation, variation orders, claims, cost control, and project cost monitoring.
- Conduct regular site measurements and assessments to verify work progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and finalize project accounts, ensuring timely and accurate project close-out.
- Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, including managing contractual correspondence, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks to safeguard the Company's interests.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
- Lead and mentor a team of Junior Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance, coaching, and technical support to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tasks assigned.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant quantity surveying experience in the Construction Industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous, organised, and able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
