Our commitment to keep our people safe is embodied in our Safety, Health and Environment Policy where our management will do its utmost best to provide a safe work environment for all employees and interested parties. We are also committed to providing a sustainable green environment by ensuring that the outputs of our work activities do not cause undue pollution to the society. Although being a sub-contractor for most of the projects on hand, CSC Holdings Limited is and has been actively promoting safety and health in the day-to-day construction activities particularly in the major foundation works which are its core business. All employees from its top management to workers level have undergone relevant safety training as required under the statutory requirements. In addition, in-house trainings are also conducted on a regular basis to enhance the safety awareness of its employees. Their understanding in safety is vitally important to us.” In order to improve and enhance workers' understanding in safety, CSC Holdings Limited has since compiled a safety handbook mostly made out of pictorials to ease workers' understanding. With this, all workers can now refer to the handbook as and when they have any doubt. Although the handbook does not describe every safety detail, it serves as a good tool for workers to understand the basic safety requirements while performing work on sites. The objective of these best practices is to prevent incident occurrences. As our nature of work is rather specialized, it is inevitable that some of our best practices may differ slightly from the general industry. Our supervisors on site use the information found in the bulletin for their regular toolbox talk with the workers.
